Dear Clients and Friends,
As we celebrate our second anniversary since the launch of our firm on August 4, 2023, I wanted to look back at what we’ve accomplished and provide you with some firm updates. As of today, as a team, we manage over $149.6M in assets for 76 families across 13 states and four countries. I want to emphasize that we know and understand the intricacies of every client we work with. We truly take the time to learn about the preferences and needs of every client. These are not just nice words to me and this aspect of our approach will never change. For those of you who are less familiar, even though the firm, Capital Squared Financial (CSF), has been around for two years, many of our clients have been with us for over a decade.
Speaking of time, just in the first part of this year, four of our long-term clients have successfully retired and transitioned into the next chapter of their lives. In one case, it wasn’t fully voluntary as they were impacted by recent changes, but it was still successful. I mention this because for me, it’s always a special moment when our clients actually transition into their well-deserved retirement. There is a big difference between planning and actually transitioning into the next chapter of your life…
In terms of our clients, our growth comes almost entirely from referrals by our existing clients and network. And we don’t want it to be any different. It shows that our clients genuinely trust not just in our ability to help them, but also their family and friends. I want to take a moment and express my deep gratitude to everyone who referred clients to us. Please know I greatly appreciate your trust and support.
Our team continues to grow. We now have four professionals dedicated to serving our clients and we plan to gradually expand our team over the next few years. We are pleased to welcome Alyssa Neece, who joined the firm on August 1, 2025, as a Financial Planning Associate. Alyssa is genuinely passionate about financial planning and their background is a great match for our firm. You should expect to hear from Alyssa soon! Our professional network also continues to expand. We recently added an amazing CPA group to our referral list and look forward to collaborating with them in the future.
As Capital Squared continues to grow, our commitment to you remains unchanged. Every client will continue to receive individualized attention to ensure each financial plan meets your unique needs and goals. We will always prioritize quality over quantity, ensuring that our growth never comes at the expense of the service and care our current clients deserve. My experience in the industry has shown that many firms lose sight of this. At Capital Squared, your best interests will always be at the heart of everything we do.
