Asi de Silva, CFA, serves as the Chief Investment Officer of Capital Squared Financial (CSF). Prior to joining CSF, Asi founded and managed RockDen Advisors, a successful boutique-style firm in Alexandria, Virginia.

Asi brings over 25 years of experience investing with multi-billion-dollar hedge funds and institutional investment management companies. He started his career analyzing companies during the Asian Financial Crisis of the late '90s and navigated a hedge fund portfolio during the Global Financial Crisis in 2007-2008.

Prior to founding RockDen Advisors, Asi worked for UBS in Asia, advising hedge and mutual funds. Previously, he spent a decade at institutional investment firms in Connecticut, and he started his Wall Street career as an equity analyst with French Bank Societe Generale.

Asi’s experience has provided him with a deep understanding and the skills required to protect our clients' savings in different market environments. He uses his macroeconomic and market experience to craft investment portfolios individually designed to protect and grow our clients’ assets in both the short- and long-term.

Additionally, Asi utilizes CSF’s comprehensive planning capabilities to design specific financial or retirement plans for his clients. He is keenly aware of strategies not only to maximize the growth potential of our clients' portfolios, but also to minimize their tax burden.

Asi is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and daughter. In his free time, Asi is a keen golfer and enjoys the many bike and running paths in Northern Virginia.
